Marcus Major 
725 YEARS

Marcus Major is serving a sentence of 8,919 months or 743 years and 3 months. Marcus was convicted on charges of (30) armed robberies and (2) counts of conspiracy to commit robbery which totaled 18 years and 3 months; these charges resulted in (24) counts of stacking under 924c and (6) charges of discharging a gun that added an additional 725 years to his sentence

Ian Owens 
117 YEARS

Ian Owens was charged with four robberies, a carjacking, five-counts of 924(C), two additional firearm counts and two counts of conspiracy to commit the same robberies. Ian was later convicted of thirteen of the fourteen counts and sentenced to 117 years and 7 months. 105 of these years were assigned due to improper merging of the 924(C) violations. 

Adam Clausen
213 Years

Adam Clausen was charged by the United States Attorneys Office and indicted on 9 counts of Committing Hobbs Act Robbery, 9 counts of Conspiracy to Commit Hobbs Act Robbery, and 9 counts of Using a Firearm during a crime of violence (robbery) in violation of §942 (c) After a 7 day jury trial, he was convicted on all 27 counts and sentenced to 213 years without the possibility of parole. 

Gregory M. Rose
90 Years

Gregory M. Rose was sentenced to 1081 months or 90 years in Federal prison for driving the getaway car in a string of bank robberies that were committed in New York State. At the time of these crimes Gregory was 20 years old, attending college, and had a minimal criminal history. He received 8 years for the robbery offenses and 82 years for the gun that was involved in the individual robberies (although he didn’t carry it).

Ronnie Lynn Fowler
45 Years

 Ronnie Lynn Fowler was 24 years old when I received a federal sentence of 624 months or 52 years, which was later reduced to 540 months or 45 years. Later in that same year Ronnie was sentenced to 45 years in the State of Texas. After doing 18 years and 11 months, he was paroled out of the State of Texas and was picked up the Federal Marshalls to start a fresh 540 months sentence in the feds. This was all for the SAME case

Eric Bryant
65 Years

Eric Bryant's crimes involved a series of armed robberies of one Jewelry store and a Bank robbery. Eric was charged under the HOBBS ACT. Eric was 24 years old when he entered prison and received 65 years (20 years for the crime and 45 years for stacking). 

L.C. Gipson
62.5 Years

L.C. Gipson is serving 62 ½  years in federal prison for conspiracy, robbery and three stacked sentences of 924c. No one was hurt or in any way physically harmed in any of the charged crimes. The “stacked” 924c sentences total 45 years of the 62 ½ years that L.C. is serving. He has been incarcerated since 1993, at the age of 29. If not for the “stacked” 924c sentence he would have been set free this year; however as it stands, he will die before he is released. He must serve another 40 years due to the 924c statue.

John Anthony Taylor
71 Years

John Anthony Taylor, III has been sentenced to 852 months or 71 years in federal prison for armed bank robbery. No life was taken, nor was anyone hurt. This was John's first offense. His sentence looks like this: bank robbery with aiding and abetting = 168 months or 14 years, and under 924c use, carry, brandish a firearm during a crime = 684 months or 57 years.

Brian D. Austin
57 years

Brian Austin was 24 years old when he was arrested and charged for multiple bank robberies along with two 924(c) counts. He was convicted in trial and sentenced to 57 years in federal prison and was given 25 years for the robberies and 32 years for “stacking.”   It is important to know that one was hurt or shot. There was no bodily harm done to anyone. 

Johnathon Gaines
59 Years

Johnathon Gaines is serving a 711 months or 59 year federal prison sentence. His crime was armed bank robbery. He was sentenced to 25 years for the bank robberies, 2 years for obstruction of justice, and 32 years for 924(c).

Robert C. Turner
42 Years

Robert C. Turner is the father of five adult children aging from 27 to 21 years old. This is his first time in the custody of Federal Bureau of Prisons. He was sentenced to 510 months or 42 years. Robert was convicted on two counts of Hobb-Act robberies of aiding and abiding and 924c “stacking” charges for robbery. This was his first felony and it broke down like this: 15 years for the crimes and 27 years for 924c “stacking” charges.

Lindsey Orr, Sr.
40 years

Lindsey Orr is 48 years old and has been incarcerated for almost 9 years. Lindsey was sentenced to 40 years in prison. For his crime of two counts of bank robberies, he received an 8 year sentence and 32 years came from the 924(c) firearm “STACKING.”  Please know that the firearms that were utilized were never FIRED and NO ONE was ever hurt. 

Lorenzo L.Suttles
41 years

Lorenzo Suttles is a 35 year old male currently residing in Memphis, TN, FCI (Federal Correctional Institution). Lorenzo was convicted of Conspiracy to commit robbery, Hobbs Act robbery and armed bank robbery making a total of five counts. The result of the conviction was 492 months or 41 years of which 9 years was from the crime and 32 years stemmed from 18 USC 924(c) mandatory minimum consecutive penalty provision. These robberies resulted in no physical violence or injuries.

Branson stovall
73 years

Brenson Stovall currently resides was born in New Orleans, LA on October 18, 1972 and is serving a 73 year sentence for robbery and interfering with commerce. He was given 6 years for the robbery and 67 years for 924(c) stacking.  

cedric smith

Cedric Smith currently resides in Pollock, LA, UPS (United States Penitentiary).  In 1992 he was sentenced to 94 years in federal prison for a rash of bank robberies that took place in Shreveport, Louisiana. 

Din Celaj

My name is Din Celaj. I am a federal prisoner from the Southern District of New York. In 2006 I posed as an undercover police officer and robbed a number of illegal drug dealers in and around New York. Since the law defined (and protected) the drugs sold by these individuals as "commodities in commerce", these robberies were prosecutable under the so-called "Hobbs Act". (18 U.S.C. 1951) ​
